High Excursion Driver With 2″-2.5″ Voice Coil

Acting like a piston to an engine, the voice coil provides the motor force to move the speaker in and out. The large diameter keeps the voice coil cool as it drives the woofer in and out. Our 8″ subwoofers are crafted with a 2″ voice coil, while the 10″ and 12″ subwoofers are equipped with a 2.5″ voice coil. The high excursion moves the air that produces this subwoofer’s high output. The 300W power handling of the 8″ model and 500W power handling of the 10″ and 12″ models pair nicely with one of the Episode Hybrid or subwoofer amplifiers.
